Interested in learning skills of using Shakespeare and Drama Therapy to facilitate connection, emotional well-being, and self expression among prison inmates, at-risk youth and other marginalized populations? Consider joining the “Shakespeare for Social Justice Training Program” with Marin Shakespeare Company. As the Shakespeare for Social Justice Director for Marin Shakespeare Company, I have been working in jails, prisons and juvenile hall since 2003. Through the years, we have learned that conscious use of the theater and other art forms can provide a doorway into healing, growth and profound inner transformation for individuals from backgrounds of trauma, abuse, poverty and violence. Join us for this unique training program which will empower you to help empower others through Shakespeare, theater and the arts.
